As the years go by, we’re focusing more and more on planet-friendly practices alongside our skincare, because what we put on our skin shouldn’t hurt our planet.
But, it’s what we do that matters, not just what we say.That’s why our annual 5.5 campaign has been at the heart of our mission for years.We’ve taken consistent action to help the planet, including donating clothing, working with community charities, and supporting environmental causes like One Tree Planted.

2019
5.5 Skincare Community Day Begins
We kicked off our eco mission by hosting our first ever 5.5 Skincare Community Day on Instagram! We invited the global skincare community to join us in celebrating and recognizing the people who inspire our skincare journeys, including educators, reviewers, bloggers, and friends.
2020
Caring for Wildlife
We rallied our Instagram community for a second year to donate to the Wildlife Conservation Society, who help conserve habitat for around 50% of the world’s biodiversity.
2021
Community-led Charity
On our third 5.5 Skincare Community Day, we asked our Instagram community to nominate a charity for us to donate $1 to for every comment. Thanks to the spectacular enthusiasm of our community, we donated $1,922 to the World Wildlife Fund.
2022
Conserving Coral Reefs
In our fourth year, we took our efforts under the sea. We reinforced our commitment to environmental sustainability by donating $1,926 to the Coral Reef Alliance, thanks to product sales and the overwhelming support of our Instagram community.
2023
Growing Even Greener
We stepped up our game by introducing easily removable, recyclable labels on our products. On the fifth 5.5 Skincare Community Day, we donated $905 to One Tree Planted to support global reforestation efforts.
2024
Planet-friendly Packaging
We proudly presented our eco-conscious packaging and removable labels which make recycling even easier. We celebrated with our EcoGlow Campaign Event in Jeju, drawing inspiration from the island’s serene green landscapes and stunning blue waters to embrace nature and prioritize sustainability. Finally, for 5.5 Skincare Community Day, we donated $2000 to One Tree Planted, continuing our contribution to a greener, more sustainable future.
